CINDY MARIE JENKINS is a Director & Adaptor, specializing in material that no one thinks can work on stage. She is the Creative Director of Foe Pa, a Sketch Theater Group. Cindy is a regular contributor to the Women In Theatre Newsletter, lasnark.com, reviews plays for uktheatre.net and you can also catch her thoughts on this project at www.voicesfromchornobyl.com/blog/ . Recent directing includes: BOY GETS GIRL by Rebecca Gilman at the Attic Theatre, Stephen Sondheim's ASSASSINS with Sight Unseen, FOE PA:EPISODE 6 performed at the Fountain Theatre, VOICES FROM CHORNOBYL at Edgefest 2007 & PHILOKTETES at the Open Fist Theatre. She graduated from NYU with a BFA in Drama Direction and directed many works in New York. She moved to L.A. 5 years ago, where she met Lighting Designer Dan Jenkins, who has been invaluable as a Husband, Designer, and who gives new meaning to the phrase “Devil’s Advocate.”
LEE OSTEEN II (Composer) Over the last 10 years, Lee Osteen II has been sharing his love of music with people from all over the world, starting from his midwest rock group "NewCleaR" through his more recent solo achievements composing for film and theatre here in sunny California. He has written music for shows such as BUNBURY, DIRK, and "STRING OF PEARLS, as well as the recent plays "BIG DEATH & LITTLE DEATH at The Road Theatre and "THE MYSTERY PLAYS at Theatre 40. Currently playing AND NEITHER HAVE I WINGS TO FLY at the Road Theatre features his music as well.
VALERIE ROTHENBERG (Costume Designer) received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion and Costume Design from Woodbury University. Her theater design work includes four summers with Shakespeare Festival Los Angeles, and recent productions with Epic Megalopolis and the Theatre @ Boston Court. She has also worked in film, dance, and television; including season two of the Fox show BONES. This marks Valerie’s third collaboration with director Cindy Jenkins; prior work being PHILOKTETES at the Open Fist Theatre and ASSASSINS produced by Sight Unseen Theatre Group.
